1391378 Glass composition OWENSCORNING FIBERGLAS CORP 9 Oct 1973 [13 Dec 1972 (2)] 47128/73 Heading C1W A barium and chromium-free glass comprises in percentages by weight SiO 2 60-64; Al 2 O 3 3-5À5; CaO 7-12; MgO 0-2; B 2 O 3 4À5-8; Ha 2 O 14-16; K 2 O 0-2À5; Fe 2 O 3 0-0À5. The glass is particularly useful for producing glass-fibres. Such as glass is stated to have a viscosity of 10<SP>2À5</SP> poises at a temperature of 2185‹ F. (1196‹ C.) or less and a liquidus temperature of 1790‹ F. (976‹ C.) or less.
