Abstract

1390795 Pressurized dispensing containers METAL BOX CO Ltd 9 Aug 1973 [5 Oct 1972] 45989/72 Heading F1R A unitary dispensing cap comprises a cylindrical portion 1 adapted to engage a pressurized container body, and a valve actuating portion 9 having an actuating tab 10 and an outlet member 6 hinged to the portion 1 at 8. The outlet member 6 comprises a bore fitted with a solid core 13 which is either spaced from the bore or is a fit in the bore and provided with at least one groove to provide a restricted outlet passage which communicates with an outlet chamber 19 in a cup 17 formed on the core 13 and fitted with an insert orifice member 16. A cover 24 is fitted to the cap and includes a portion for engaging the rim 27 of a container. A tamper-proof portion 29 is frangibly connected to the cover 24.
