Abstract
1390196 Heating and cooling buildings L O ANDERSSON E ISFALT and A F ROSELL 20 April 1972 [20 April 1971 19 Oct 1971] 18479/72 Heading F4U The interior of a building is heated or cooled by air external to the building which is passed through ducts 22 disposed in a wall, ceiling and/or floor, heat being absorbed by or given to wall, ceiling or floor to change the temperature of the air in the building in accordance with variations in ambient air temperature. The use of concrete 24 as a thermal storage means or cold accumulator is enhanced by directing the air flow against selected portions as jets by one or more throttle members 25 having nozzle apertures 26 and by changing the rate of air flow through the ducts.
