Abstract

The system is particularly for use in a bungalow, having a heat source situated below the floor. Openings are provided in the latter to allow the hot air to rise above it, and openings around the periphery at least allow the hot air, once cooled, to return beneath the floor and so to the heat source. The hot air can be passed through a conduit underneath the floor, avoiding any mixing between it and he returning cold air currents. For each room, an opening can be provided in the floor and the top of the wall so air can flow through adjacent rooms before passing through the floor.
