Abstract

1,148,920. Unit air heaters. FIRTH CLEVELAND Ltd. 19 May, 1967 [29 April, 1966], No. 18809/66. Heading F4V. A unit air heater, which may be wall mounted, has a casing open at the base to form an inlet and a heat exchanger 7 which may be of the finned hot water tube type the air passing selectively to one or both of two outlets. In one form, Fig. 1, the lower outlet 9b of two outlets 9a, 9b is controlled by a lever 12 which can also control an on-off switch for a fan 8 associated with the outlet 9a. In other embodiments (Figs. 3 and 4) the outlets are in the top of the casing and in one embodiment heated air can flow through both the fan associated outlet and the other outlet simultaneously.
