Abstract

1388043 Plastics closure cap A OBRIST 6 March 1972 [16 March 1971] 10287/72 Heading B8T A plastics closure cap 10 comprises an outer skirt 2 at least partially surrounded by a strap 5 secured to the skirt 2 by terminal regions 6, 7 angled towards the skirt and one another. Frangible webs (8), Fig. 2 (not shown), between the strap 5 and the skirt 2, break when the strap 5 is pulled to remove the closure. Sealing is effected by an inner skirt (3) and an annular bead (4) on the outer skirt 2 which has stiffening ribs (11) below the bead (4), Fig. 3 (not shown).
