Abstract

1387801 Bandages P N SPEED 3 July 1974 [18 July 1973] 34281/73 Heading A5R A bandage comprises a rectangular backing sheet 1 of linen or other suitable material to one surface of which is secured a rectangle of lint 2, a plurality of tie-strips 7-12 being secured to each of two opposing edges of the backing sheet for securing the bandage in position. A layer of cotton wool is provided between the backing sheet and lint. The bandage may be used whole or cut into narrower strips each having one pair of ties. The layer of lint and cotton-wool is at least 15" x 8" in area and the tie-strips are at least 18" long by 4" wide.
