Abstract
1379490 Transformers SIEMENS AG 22 Dec 1972 [29 Dec 1971 14 April 1972] 59551/72 Heading HIT A high frequency induction having a ferrite core comprises a cylindrical core component 1, displaceable through a central bore 2 in a first core component 3 to form a variable air gap d with an upstanding element 6 of a second core component 7, said element 6 being surrounded by a flat coil 8. Each turn of said coil (Fig. 1, not shown) is a circle interrupted by a gap, adjacent turns being connected by radial parts. The coil plane is parallel to and distant from the end face of core element 6 by a distance related to the air gap and may be a printed circuit or formed by thicklayer or thin-layer techniques on a substrate body or by punching or etching from sheet metal, and may be silver plated. Component 3 may also be cup or bell-shaped.
