Abstract

1378928 Thread guide SCHWEITER ENG WORKS Ltd 28 June 1972 [30 June 1971] 30293/72 Heading D1J For winding tapered-end packages, a thread guide is carried on a bodily reciprocated bell crank which is simultaneously pivoted by a slide track which itself pivots with package growth, the track being connected to a movement damper. Bell crank 7 is pivotally carried on slider 4 reciprocated by traverse roll 1, supports thread guide 8 and pivotally supports slider 10 sliding in track 11 pivoted at 12. The track is pivoted by a package feeler responsive to package growth, which engages in track fork 14. Piston-cylinder damping unit 15, 16, 17 is pivotally connected to support 13 and, by bell crank 19, to track 11.
