1378474 Rotary positive-displacement machines MASCHINENFABRIK FRIEDRICH REICHERT GmbH 5 Feb 1973 [17 May 1972] 5499/73 Heading F1F In an internally-meshing gear pump a ring gear 11 is supported by a bearing 19 on a pivot pin 20 having its axis perpendicular to, and intersecting, a line passing through the axes of said gear and that of a pinion 9, Fig.5 (not shown). To balance radial forces recesses 21, 23 in the bearing are pressurized through bores 15, 22. Axial sealing is provided by pressure-loaded plates 16. To compensate for wear a filling piece 12 between the gears has a quadrangular recess 14 engaging slidingly with a pin 13 that can turn about its axis in casing parts 1,3. A flange 4 facilitates mounting on e.g. a driving motor.
