Abstract

The plate sealing the central cavity of the pump body comprises a first part (28) on the outside, fixed to the body (1), and a second internal part (29), a movable in relation to the first in the direction of the impeller axis. This second part can act as the wear plate, or can carry such a plate, and it can bear against the first part via bosses (32) whose ends faces can be machined down, while screws (34) pass freely through the first part and engage with the second so as to hold it stationary.
