137,787. Stove, A. E. Sept. 19, 1919. Addition to 122,583. Couplings, disconnectible.-A hose coupling of the kind described in the parent Specification is modified by forming the washer-ring C which carries the face washer J with a plain surface C' on the side which is adjacent the interior of the U-shaped packing washer D, and the construction is modified to provide free admission of water to the interior of the member D by shortening the inside wall of the washer D, and by shortening the sleeve A to which the hose is attached, and, if desired, also forming notches A<2> in this sleeve. The sleeve A and washer-ring C are mounted so as to be capable of unrestricted rotary movement, by causing lugs on the ring to engage an annular groove C<5> in the coupling ring B, and the retaining screws are arranged in the vertical grooves leading to the annular one.
