Outlets to chimneys.-A combined lintel and flue mouth consists of a lintel or slab a of reinforced concrete having at the rear thereof and integral therewith a hollow block b, the sides and gathers of which converge to form the flue opening d. The rear wall e of the block b may be integral therewith or separate therefrom, and may be made of double thickness to receive the gathers of a second block in the case of back-toback fire-places. Fig. 2 shows a modified form of block for kitchen ranges, the front wall g of the block also converging upwardly. A wedgeshaped recess h is provided to reduce weight.
