Abstract

1376831 Harvesters; adjustable reels MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR AG 8 May 1972 [9 June 1971] 21374/72 Heading A1F The reel 4 of a harvester is mounted on a mowing platform 1 via a pair of quadrilateral linkages rigidly interconnected by laterally extending frame members (11), (12) (Fig. 3 not shown) and each comprising a reel support arm 5, pivot levers 6, 7, 8; a hydraulic jack 10 acting on a respective lever 8 for vertical adjustment of the reel 4 and a hydraulic jack 10 acting on the respective linkage via a lever 13 for horizontal adjustment. The weight of the reel 4 is counter balanced by a pair of springs 15 and the levers 13 may be connected to the levers 7 or to the rearmost frame member (12).
