Abstract

1,121,874. Combine harvesters. MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR A.G. 30 Sept., 1965 [2 Nov., 1964], No. 41515/65. Heading A1F. A reaping arrangement adapted to be mounted on a combine harvester with a pick-up device includes a cutter mechanism and a grid permitting separation of stones from the cut crop received on the grid from the cutter mechanism. As illustrated the arrangement has a cutter mechanism 7, a grid 10, side walls 5, 6 pivotally connected at 20 to the harvester, and a cutter disc or crop divider 8. Pivoted movement of the arrangement is controlled by jacks 19, and the cutter mechanism is driven by a rocker arm 14 hingedly connected to a main rocker arm 18 when the latter is disconnected from the cutter bar 4.
