Abstract

1372005 Caps for bottles V SANMUGASUNDERAM 24 March 1972 [12 July 1971] 13881/72 Heading B8T A closure for an externally threaded container or bottle is provided with two skirt portions 13, 19 which fracture when the closure is tampered with. The closure has the same features as the closure described in Specification number 790,119 but with additional slits 38 lying along skirt 8 and at right angles to circumferential slits 15. The portions 12, 14 are designed to receive threads of opposite hand when the closure is on a correspondingly threaded bottle neck, Fig. 4 (not shown) and the part 37 is crimped under a shoulder on the bottle.
