Abstract

1366470 Barium titanate ceramics MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO Ltd 14 April 1972 [16 April 1971] 17453/72 Headings C1J and C1A A barium titanate ceramic is obtained by firing at 1260-1400‹ C. for 0À5-5 hours 98- 99À95% of a primary mixture with 0À05-2% of BeSO4. The primary mixture can be BaTiO3 alone, or with 0À005 to 0À5% of an oxide of Nb, Ta, Sb, Bi, La, Ce, Cd, Sm or Y, or with 0À1 to 0À4% of MnO2. 1 to 35 atom per cent of Ba can be replaced by Sr or Pb; or 1 to 20 atom per cent of Ti by Sn or Zr.
