Abstract
1,178,825. Dielectric ceramics. TDK ELECTRONICS CO. Ltd. 18 Oct., 1968 [10 April, 1968 (2)], No. 49659/68. Heading C1J. A dielectric ceramic composition comprises by weight 55-75% SrTiO3, 15-30% CaTiO3 and 5-20% Bi2O3.xTiO2, wherein x is from 3 to 9. A mixture of SrTiO3 and CaTiO3, or of SrO, TiO2 and CaO is presintered at 1000- 1250‹ C. in an oxidizing atmosphere and crushed and ground. The powder is then mixed with Bi2O3 and TiO2, pressed into discs with a polyvinyl alcohol binder and, if desired, with an addition of 0À1 to 0À5 wt. per cent MnCO3 and fired at 1300-1360‹ C. in an oxidizing atmosphere.
