Abstract

136,362. Dickie, W. March 22, 1919. Rotary disk valves.-A rotary disk valve is provided with a seat of flexible material slidably mounted in the casing so as to enable the fluid pressure to press it against the valve member. The valve member 3 has a series of eccentric graduated apertures adapted to co-operate with a single eccentric aperture 2 in the seat 1, and is formed integrally with a spindle 4 fitted with a sealing-collar at 4<a> and with an actuating-handle at 5. The seat is supported by a perforated web 7, and its play is adjusted by means of a screwed ring 2<a> holding the two parts of the casing together.
