Abstract

1363231 Panelling VERSATILE FITTINGS (WHS) Ltd and G B SWANN 3 Nov 1971 [11 Sept 1970] 43613/70 Heading E1W Panelling uprights secured by an adjustable mechanism to a backing structure are formed with a succession of longitudinally spaced slots 21 either side 15, 16 of a channel shaped projecting nose 20 in the base of the channel section uprights. Panels 11 have top and bottom flanges bent away from their face and vertical edge flanges formed with portions 36, 37 which engage respectively with a side 16 and the external face of the upright channel wall 13. Panels are secured to the uprights by clips 40 with at least one hooked portion which engages and is resiliently held in a slot 21 engaging the face of the panel and the nose 20. The free edge portion 37 of the panel engages in slots formed by struck out tabs 22 on the side walls of the uprights. Specification 1363232 is referred to.
