Abstract

1360795 Siphon bottles BRITISH OXYGEN CO Ltd 6 Aug 1971 [10 Aug 1970] 38397/70 Heading F1R A siphon head comprises an outlet passage 16 with a dispensing valve 12, 14, 18 for liquid and an inlet passage 42, 46 for gas extending through part of the dispensing valve and communicating with the siphon bottle through a non-return valve 12, 48. The dispensing valve member 12 is operated by a spring-biased lever 26 having an extension 22 which seats in a recess 20 in valve member 12. A charging plug 34 has a screw-threaded portion 36 for attachment of a compressed gas bulb holder and the inlet passage is provided with a hollow piercing member 42 for piercing the gas bulb seat. In another embodiment the outlet passage is movable and seats against a resilient seat supported by a member through which the inlet passage extends.
