Abstract

1359753 Load handling pallet PRESSED STEEL FISHER Ltd 4 May 1973 [5 May 1972] 20922/72 Heading B8H A post pallet comprises a rectangular base frame with upstanding posts 20 each formed of a pair of angle section members 21. A plurality of support members 25, 26 are mounted on each post to form a series of vertical spaced sets of supports for supporting vehicle roof panels. Each support member 25 comprises -a box section member with a ball 31 entrapped therein, a load engaging plate 28 welded to one end and a bush 27 welded to the underneath. A pivot pin 29 extends through the bush to mount the member on the posts whereby as the member is pivoted from a retracted position to an extended position or vice versa the ball moves across the pivot axis to hold the member in its position. Steps 30 are provided to abut the members 25 at their end positions.
