Abstract

1359527 Pneumatic conveyers TRYTHALL DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT Ltd 14 July 1972 [25 Aug 1971] 39967/71 Heading B8A Material is supplied from a hopper 12 to a conveying apparatus 10 and then from there to a plurality of receiving points 14, 16,18 at different distances from the apparatus through a pipe system 22 containing a plurality of diverter valves 20 to control the flow of material to a respective one of the receiving points, the apparatus comprising means VA, VB for providing a plurality of different predetermined quantities of compressed fluid, each quantity sufficient to convey the material to a different receiving point. The conveying apparatus 10 shown comprises a hopper containing a plurality of air reservoirs which may be used singly or in combination to provide different quantities of compressed air through valves VA and/or VB.
