1356416 Box-wrapping machines SKODA NARODNI PODNIK 16 Sept 1971 [2 Oct 1970] 43316/71 Heading B8C In a box wrapping machine, boxes 2 are pushed by dogs 3 on endless chain 5 through inlet passage 6 to carry a length of foil 7 into a wrapping passage 9 which delivers the partiallywrapped box into a sleeve 18 on a split drum 19 which rotates on shaft 20 to take the box successively past rotatable folder 25 and stationary folder 26, whereafter, the box is withdrawn from the sleeve by a dog 27 on a second chain 28 and is carried through output passage 29 including formers 30, 31 to complete the wrapping operation. Passages 6, 9, and 29 have longitudinal slits through which dogs 3 and 27 protrude, and sleeves 18 are formed in two halves for the same purpose.
