[Also in Group XVII] In a box-making machine (see Group XVII) in which mandrels thrust a paper web 19 into pockets 4 in a wheel 3, the web is cut by means of vertically reciprocating knives 20 between each pair of pockets. The knives are mounted in the wheel and operated by a cam 24 and followers 23.
