Abstract

1354708 Interconnection arrangements BURNDY CORP 15 June 1971 [15 June 1970] 27948/71 Heading H2E [Also in Division H1] In an interconnection box for aircraft wiring, plug boards are connected to input sockets on the box sides by folded flexible printed circuits. The plug boards each comprise an insulating housing in two parts 15, 16, between which are assembled insulating plates 25. The plates 25 carry two or more sleeves S having friction projections 29 in the upper part and depending conducting portions 33, 34 below. The conducting portions 33 and 34 are connected by a bar which has a downwardly extending prong 36 which engages a flexible printed circuit C. The printed circuit, Fig. 3 (not shown) extends to the pins of a connector mounted in the box wall. Connections between any selected sleeves S may be made by jumpers 30 having prongs 32 formed with a flange 31 to limit penetration.
