Abstract

1,210,344. Two-part couplings. SIEMENS A.G. 29 May, 1969 [30 May, 1968], No. 27134/69. Heading H2E. Contact pins 7 have frusto-conical ends which project from one side of a supporting plate 8 and engage sockets formed by helical springs 11, mounted on a wiring plate 12, the springs being connected to conductors on the wiring plate and the supporting plate being adjacent to and rigidly supporting a printed circuit board 5 having conductors 5a in electrical contact with micromodules 6 and the contact pins 7. The helical springs are soldered or welded to the wiring plate at through contact holes and may have an elongated tail wire to facilitate connection thereto. The three boards are enclosed by a housing 9 having insulated edges and a plate (not shown) behind wiring plate 12, which are screwed together, to provide pressure contact, by a screw (10) passing through the assembly.
