Abstract

1,173,525. Two-part couplings. MOHAWK DATA SCIENCES CORP. 27 Feb., 1967 [11 April, 1966], No. 9275/67. Heading H2E. A sequential connector comprises a first member 22 having flexible pressure contacts 20 connected to soldering pins 23 and a mating second member constituted by contacts 4-16 printed on a circuit board 2 carrying electronic circuits, some of the printed contacts being broader in the vertical direction than others, to provide larger contact areas, and some being longer than others so that when the circuit board is engaged with and removed from member 22, power and signal connections are made and broken in correct sequence.
