Abstract

1353828 Electro-photographic fixing apparatus EASTMAN KODAK CO 27 May 1971 [27 May 1970] 17614/71 Heading G2H Electro-photographic fixing apparatus comprises an insulating block 13 having a slot 24 through which air is blown from a blower 28, electrical heaters 15 being mounted in block 13 to heat the air for fixing a toner image on a moving web 21. Web 21 may be conveyed by an endless porous belt 23 moving around a vacuum platen 31 or by a perforated metal drum (not shown). Platen 31 may be heated.
