Abstract

1448186 Heat-fixing toner images EASTMAN KODAK CO 3 Feb 1975 [1 Feb 1974] 4560/75 Heading G2H Copy sheets S carrying toner images D, after passing between a pressure roller 16 and a heated fuser roller 18, are cooled in a flattened condition by a thermally conductive guide-plate having a plurality of ports 40, air being drawn across the rear surface of the guide-plate and sucked through the ports 40 so as to cool the guide-plate and to maintain the copy sheet in heat-transferring relationship with it.
