Abstract
1352166 Cooling I.C. engines AUTOMOBILES PEUGEOT and REGIE NATIONALE DES USINES RENAULT 19 April 1971 [8 April 1970] 24802/71 Heading F1B [Also in Division B2] In a cooling circuit of an I.C. engine, a separat ing device (see Division B2) for removing gases from the cooling water is placed on the outlet of the engine upstream of a thermostat valve which controls the flow of cooling water through the radiator. The gases discharged with a minor portion of the cooling water from the separating device are separated from the said minor portion in a feeder forming part of the cooling circuit and acting also as an expansion chamber for the cooling water.
