Abstract

1349281 Electric couplings BUNKER RAMO CORP 22 June 1971 [17 Aug 1970] 29280/71 Heading H2E A thin sheet metal contact comprises a springy blade 10, a mounting portion 11 which has flanges 21, 23, 24 (and 22, Fig. 2, not shown) to secure it in the dielectric body 20, and a terminal post 12 which is stiffened by folding the metal as shown in cross-section in Fig. 5. The surfaces of the post may be made concave to form sharper corners which bite into a conductor wrapped round the post. Part 16 is an anchor portion to limit the flexing of the blade, and protuberance 14 is provided to engage a similar contact.
