Abstract

1349047 R.F. couplings PYE Ltd 5 May 1972 21028/72 Heading H4A An isolator comprises an insulating board having on each of its major surfaces a pair of conducting regions forming a substantially uniform open-circuited transmission line, the members of one pair respectively overlapping the members of the other pair. The two pairs have means for respective connection to input conductors and to output conductors. As described, a board 1 is a glass/epoxy laminate and each conducting region is a copper strip. Coaxial cables 4, 5 are connected to respective strip pairs, and are substantially matched thereto in characteristic impedance. One cable leads to an aerial, and the other to transmitter or receiver means.
