Abstract

1347569 Dosing apparatus BRISTOLMYERS CO 19 April 1971 [17 Feb 1970] 26101/71 Heading B1C A device for dosing a flushing cistern, e.g. with cleanser or disinfectant comprises a container 1 for the liquid additive and an air-bell 7 which rises and falls with the water level. In its lowest position as shown additive fills the metering chamber 6, and is discharged through outlets 10 as the bell rises. A closure cap (20, Fig. 2 not shown) has a member (21) which maintains the projection. 11 in sealing engagement with the orifice 8 during storage and transport. The device may be suspended from the cistern wall by a slidable hook (15).
