1347162 Photo-electrophoretic imaging XEROX CORP 20 April 1971 [22 April 1970] 10077/71 Heading G2H In the photo-electrophoretic imaging of a suspension 4 between a flat injecting electrode 1 and a roller blocking electrode 5, the image is projected through the injecting electrode and a thin coating of photo-conductive material thereon. The coating may be produced by rubbing, may have a thickness of up to 1 micron and may have an optical density of 0.05. Non-ideal pigments may be compensated for, e.g. a photo-conductive coating absorbing green light may prevent excess magenta in a multi-colour image.
