1483632 Charge image transfer VARIAN ASSOCIATES 29 Oct 1974 [2 Nov 1973] 46771/74 Heading G2H Images to be reproduced are projected on to photo-conductive member 10 through its transparent substrate 12 and transfered as charge images to copy web 20 by application of a potential to transparent electrode interlayer 28, then as the copy web is separated from the member 10 the electrode interlayer and the backing of the copy web are earthed together to suppress arcing.
