Abstract

1345685 Inking apparatus ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY NARODNI PODNIK 9 Feb 1972 [10 Feb 1971] 6133/72 Heading B6C A printing machine includes a forme cylinder which is mounted on a shaft 27 and is fast with a gear 24 and rotatable cam segment 26, by action of which inking rollers are tripped into contact with the cylinder. The inking rollers are moved by a further cam which is actuated by a rod 30. The cam segment 26 contacts a cam follower roller 8 on a bell crank 6 and pull rod 15 turns a pivoted lever 18, so that the rod 30 is caused to trip the inking rollers. The inking rollers may be retained in contact with the cylinder by a catch 12. When the inking rollers are to be tripped out of contact with the cylinder a third cam is turned, and its associated cam follower 28 causes the assembly of rod 1, cam follower 8 and bell crank 6 to be moved, so that the cam follower 8 no longer contacts the segment 26 and the catch 12 is released. A spring 22 then rotates the lever 18 about its pivot point, and trips the inking rollers. When inking is to be resumed a further movement of the cam follower 28 moves the bell crank 6 to its original position.
