Abstract
1344922 Bridge elements for electrical primers DYNAMIT NOBEL AG 23 April 1971 [24 April 1970] 11159/71 Heading F3A [Also in Division C7] A bridge element for an electrical primer comprises a glass or ceramic disc 8, Fig. 3a, and metal coatings providing supply electrodes 9, 9<SP>1</SP> and an incandescent bridge 11. The electrode 9<SP>1</SP> communicates with the opposite side of the disc through a metal-coated bore 10. In another embodiment, Fig. 5a, a clip 12 connects one of the electrodes 9 with the opposite side of the disc. The electrodes are formed of nickel, palladium, palladium-silver, palladiumgold, platinum-gold, platinum-silver, silveraluminium, gold or silver. The bridge is formed of tantalum, tantalum nitride, nickel or chromium and has a length of 50-100Á and a thickness of 0À1-1À5 Á. The electrodes and bridge are applied by vapour deposition, printing and chemical deposition (see Division C7), the bridge being formed by developing a photosensitive lacquer and etching away unwanted areas.
