Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase both the reliability and the output sensitivity, by using the material having the nonconductive property and low heat conductivity for the supporting stand along with a pierced hole reaching the upper and lower surfaces of the supporting stand and at the same time coating the conductive film on both the upper and lower surfaces plus the inside of the pierced hole of the supporting stand. CONSTITUTION:The electrodes 2 and 3 composed of the Ni-Cr or the like are formed by vapor deposition on both surfaces of the pyroelectric this plate. The supporting stand 4 is made of the nonconductive and low-heat conductivity material such as the glass, ceramics or the like. Then the pierced hole 5 reaching both the upper and lower surfaces is drilled on the stand 4, and the conductive film 6 of the silver or the like is coated to the inner surface of the hole 5 as well as the upper and lower surfaces of the stand 4. With this film 6 on the inner surface of the hole 5, the upper and lower surfaces of the stand 4 are connected electrically to each other. In such constitution, a reduction is secured for the contact area between the stand 4 and the plate 1, thus securing the excellent heat insulation and a high output sensitivity.
