Abstract

1344115 Positive clutches TATRA NARODNI PODNIK 17 Nov 1971 [18 Nov 1970] 53444/71 Heading F2C Either of two gears 1 and 2, rotatably mounted on a shaft 13 can be clutched to this shaft by movement of a sleeve 5 axially, this sleeve being fixed for rotation with shaft 13, teeth 6 engaging with teeth 8 in a cavity in gear 1 or teeth engaging with teeth 9 in a cavity of gear 2. The clutch actuating sleeve 20, mounted on the hulb of the gear 1 and axially moveable thereon i connected to necks 17 of pins 15 which pas through the web of gear 1 to engage segments l4 which can move the sleeve 5 axially, but allow it to rotate relative thereto. The clutch arrange ment can be part of a two speed change gea arrangement, the described embodiment (Fig. 3 not shown) having shaft 13 as the output shaft
