1340996 Hoisting devices including climbing jacks PAUL ANDERSON INDUSTRIER AB 25 May 1972 [28 May 1971] 24594/72 Heading B8J A hoisting device for a load 4 comprises two climbing jacks 3 arranged to climb climbing poles 2 each stayed by a respective mast 1 and is characterized in that, by arranging for the poles 2 to be longitudinally displaceably mounted on the masts 1, no vertical forces are transmitted to the masts 1. As shown the load 4 is supported on a beam connecting the two jacks 3 and the bases 6 of the masts 1 have levelling devices 5. Each mast may stay climbing poles for two cooperating climbing jacks, Fig. 4 (not shown).
