Abstract
1339767 Photo-sensitive, heat-processable photographic materials EASTMAN KODAK CO 19 April 1971 [9 April 1970] 26874/71 Heading G2C A photographic light-sensitive heat-developable material comprises a support and in a layer or layers thereon, (a) a light-sensitive compound capable of forming catalytic centres for physical development on exposure to activic radiation, e.g. a silver halide or silver-dye complex, (b) a light-insensitive reducible metal compound, e.g. a silver, gold or mercury organic salt such as silver behenate, (c) a reducing agent for the metal compound which is an aminoreductone, and (d) an activator-toning agent such as phthalic anhydride or a phthalazinone. The material may further contain a silver halide developing agent e.g. hydroquinone an organic acid stabilizing agent, and a heat-activated DIR compound. After exposure to light, the material is processed by heating.
