1338622 Cot blankets; sleeping bags E McASKILL 23 Aug 1972 [12 Nov 1971] 52609/71 Headings A4G and A4S [Also in Division A3] In a cot on baby blankets, comprising a covering consisting of an upper sheet 1 fastened to a lining sheet 2, a folded back extension 2A of the lining sheet is joined at 3 to the covering to form a pocket receiving an end of a mattress to which the covering is retained by straps 21 which pass over the other end of the mattress and have their ends 22, 23 fastened, respectively, to the top end of the covering another to the free edge of the extension 2A. A division 6 in the covering has a sliding clasp fastener for separation of top end parts of the covering for placing the baby in a tranverse strap 7 the ends of which are secured to the top end parts at opposite sides of the division, shoulder straps 13 being secured at their ends to the strap 7 and to the top end parts, and a crutch strap 8, formed as a loop, being removably attached by buttons 10, 12 to the strap 7 and to the covering The crutch strap is formed in two parts detachably connected by buttons 26 for length adjustment. Anchoring straps 17, 18, 24, 25 are provided for connection to fixed parts of a cot and a sheet 27 of heat-insulating material is interposed between the upper sheet and the lining sheet. In modifications, anchoring straps and/or the retaining straps 21 are attached to extensions 16 of the cover, or the transverse strap 7 is in two portions, one end of each portion being mutually connectible and the other end of each portion being connected to the upper sheet at a respective side of the Division 6.
