Abstract

The rucksack consists of two distinct bags (1, 2). These bags may be joined together by a pair of shoulder straps (3). Each bag is joined to one extremity of each strap near its edges so that one bag can be carried on the back (1) and one is worn on the chest (2). The bags are generally rectangular and are fastened by slide clasp fasteners (7), buckles or locks. The bags are joined together at the bottom by adjustable supply or elastic straps (5). The free extremities of these straps can be joined to rings (4) on the base of the other bag, or can be fastened by buckles.
