Abstract

1337639 Track sections AKUSTIKBYRAN AB 28 May 1971 [28 May 1970] 17893/71 Heading E1G A track section for vehicles comprises a continuous U-section concrete bottom plate 3 an upper concrete plate 8 which is continuous or comprises a series of rigidly interconnected blocks, a layer of damping resilient material 10 therebetween and side beams also surrounded with damping material 11 and 12 which together with the arms 7 prevent lateral movement of the upper plate relative to the bottom plate. The bottom plate is separated from the bedrock by isolators 4 and held in place by stops 5 with resilient facings 6. Instead of conventional rails 13 the plate 8 may carry sliding paths or air cushion rails. The damping layer may be laminated, corrugated or indented.
