1332327 Reciprocating pumps and motors REYROLLE HYDRAULICS Ltd 19 Aug 1971 [21 Aug 1970] 40388/70 Addition to 1243776 Heading F1A In a swash-plate pump or motor comprising a rotary cylinder block 10 with pistons 12 engaging a plate 17 through slippers 15, plate 17 is rotatable on a fixed or tiltable cam member 20, and has a bearing face 29 with a plurality of recesses 27 corresponding with the number of pistons and connected by passages 17 with corresponding slipper recesses 26 supplied with . working liquid from the cylinders 11 via passages 25. Slippers 15 are held on plate 17 by a member 18 fixed to plate 17 by bolts 19 and biased to - wards cam member 20 by a spring-loaded piston 21. The bearing face 29 of plate 17 has radial grooves 31 for escape of metal particles or dirt by centrifugal action.
