Abstract

1330620 Axial flow fans TROX GmbH Gebr 27 April 1972 [14 May 1971] 19545/72 Heading F1C A spoke 3 for supporting a motor 2 in an axial flow fan for housing 1 consists of a limb 6 movably but lockably secured to a fastening element 7 at each end. Limbs 6 are of hollow oval cross-section and are pivotally secured between the arms of U-shaped elements 7 by screws 8. The elements 7 are screwed to the housing and motor through holes 10, 11. U-shaped locating elements 17 may be provided over the inner fastening elements for supporting guide baffle elements 13. Lock washers may be placed between the head 8c and not 8b and the flanges 7b or between the flanges 7b and the limb 6. A sleeve 9 prevents squashing of the hollow limb 6 when screws 8 are tightened.
