Abstract

[Also in Group XL(c)] A mounting bracket for securing a tube on another tube includes a saddle member 12 surrounding one of the tubes 11 a bolt 15 carried by the saddle member and having one of its ends passing through and attached to the other of the tubes 14 so that the saddle member is rotatable with respect to the other tube 11 and a spring member 19 pressed against the first mentioned tube to frictionally rotate this tube in the saddle member. As shown a bracket member 13 is interposed between the spring member and the tube 14 and this has cut aways 26a to prevent rotation of the tube 14. The bolt is attached to the tube 14 by means of a wing nut 16. Teeth 17 are provided on the saddle member and these engage slots 18 in the bracket member 13. A raised portion 25 is provided on the tube 11 which engages with a window 24 in the saddle member.
