Means for mounting electrical apparatus in a hole in a panel 15 comprises a casing 4 having at its front end a peripheral flange 4a and a peripheral aperture 5, a screw 16 rotatably mounted within the casing in a manner to prevent relative axial movement, a radially projecting arm 17 in screw thread and frictional engagement with the screw and means 9 for limiting angular movement of the arm, the arrangement being such that angular movement of the screw in one direction will first move the arm into a position in which it projects through the aperture whereafter continued movement of the screw in this direction will cause the arm to move along the screw towards the flange whilst movement of the screw in the opposite direction will cause the arm to move angularly into the casing and along the screw away from the flange. As shown, two arms and two screws are provided, each arm being associated with its own aperture 5. The electrical apparatus shown is a semaphore indicator and the movable disc 14 of the indicator is attached to a spindle by means of a head 18 on the spindle which has an arm 19 pivotally connected to one side of the head and which at its free end is substantially C-shaped; at the rear of the indicator disc is a slotted block 20 which at one end carries a transverse pin 21 engageable with the C-shaped end of the arm 19; the disc also carries a spring clip 22 adapted to embrace the head 18 and the arrangement is such that after the C-shaped end of the arm 19 is engaged with the pin 21 the disc 14 can be moved inwardly so that its clip 22 embraces the head to hold the disc in position.
