1326434 Packaging in laminated containers SWISS ALUMINIUM Ltd 3 Nov 1970 [6 Nov 1969] 52247/70 Heading B8C [Also in Division B5] A heat sterilized package, e.g. a deep drawn box which contains an albumen-containing foodstuff is made from an aluminium foil lined with a resin which contains a pigment, e.g. zinc oxide capable of absorbing sulphur compounds evolved during the heat sterilization. The resin may be polyethylene, polypropylene or polyethylene grafted with acrylic acid and suitably contains 0À5 to 3% by weight of the pigment. The package is particularly suitable for sardines in olive oil.
